This type of magnetic separator is intended above all for separation of metallic magnetic particles from bulk materials with good loose properties. So called MAGNETIC EXTENDING GRATES on which all metallic particles are trapped represent the basic part of the magnetic separator. They are fitted with permanent magnets, specifically with either ferrite magnets or those based on rare earth metals NdFeB where several times higher magnetic induction (magnetic force) is achieved; the grates fitted with these magnets are capable of catching even not fully magnetic particles.

These grates are mostly installed as a pair in the box structure designed in accordance with dimensional requirements of the customer. The upper grate contains always one magnetized tube less in order the tubes could create fall down labyrinth at subsequent shifting. This way the separated material contact with magnetic pipes is provided. The separation done in this manner is highly efficient.

The grates can be also installed separately e.g. in a hopper. In this case, we provide the grates with so called spreading roofs which are positioned always above the level on the magnetized tubes so that to direct material evenly on the magnetized tubes.

Cleaning preparation

Together with telescopic magnetic separators, we can supply you also a special cleaning preparation made-to-measure of magnetic separators. The cleaning preparation serves especially simpler magnetic grate handling and magnetic core protection against pollution.


In order to facilitate the installation of our separators into piping as much as possible, we offer the delivering of standard transition elements of the types "square-circle" and "circle-square". More information you can find here.

These are intended for separation from easily permeable mixtures with worse pouring properties and higher grain size, which would not fall down continuously through the above described magnetic grids. In their standard modification, they are fitted with ferritic magnets and if required, we can deliver them also in a modification fitted with neodymium (NdFeB) magnets. We produce the board magnetic separators with the incoming hole diameter of 100, 200, 250 and 300 mm.

The adjustable spreading roof is a great advantage of this type; the roof may be used to to route material directly towards the magnetic boards, achieving thus effective magnetic separation as much as possible even if installation is performed under a certain angle.

Magnetic rods with diameters of 25 and 30 mm are fitted with very powerful NdFeB magnets. Thanks to very thin wall of the covering tube, the resulting magnetic force on the surface of the magnetic tube equals to 6,000 and 7,000 Gs! You can assemble any magnetic separator using these magnetic rods.

Simply screw the magnetic rods using thread on any carrier and you will create a magnetic grid in this way. The design with the magnetic rod positioned moreover in stainless steel tubes because of their cleaning is an improved version. Metals fall off after consequent pulling out of these tubes - unfortunately, magnetic force becomes reduced significantly.
